Shipping Options and Delivery Times

Your course materials package will be sent as soon as possible after your course registration has been processed. Course Materials Production (CMP) distributes course materials packages to students living in Canada by Canada Post regular mail and by air mail to students living in the US and Mexico. It may take two to three weeks for students to receive their materials.

AU students have the option of requesting a faster delivery (air mail or courier) method at their expense. Prepaid courier arrangements allow students to receive AU’s special courier rates. Special rates do not apply to collect (C.O.D.) deliveries. Discuss these shipping options with Course Materials Production.

CMP determines the most time- and cost-effective shipping method for students living abroad. Allow about four to six weeks for overseas shipments.

Why are the materials for the course in which I registered not available?

Course materials may be temporarily unavailable for a number of reasons; the materials may be on order, the course may be undergoing a revision, or AU may be waiting for a copyright approval. Review the Course Availability Report before registering.

After I register, when will I receive my course materials?

If you live in Canada, your course materials should arrive within 10 to 15 business days after registration. If you live in the US, you should receive your materials within 20 business days. If you live overseas, your materials should arrive approximately 30 business days after registration.

After I complete my course, can I return my course materials and receive a refund?

No. The course materials are yours to keep.

Does AU sell computer software?

The only software AU sells is the Microsoft Office program and its upgrade, however, consult with Course Materials Production for details. You can order this software online.
